Were introducing our team today and although I forgot about Cameron, our Intern (Sorry Cameron) and didn’t get a chance to mention Amber, our Interior Designer who is always there whenever clients need her. In my defence we decided to make this little video when we discovered Clint, our Social Media Designer is at the Show! We were also just talking broadly about what we do and although there wasn’t time with all the clients visiting our stand, to talk about each of the hardworking guys onsite or mentioned their names, they are really the ones that make it all happen. Always thankful for their contributions!

Crucially, the office also provides good support to the field team whenever it is needed. This structure allows us to keep clients well-informed about the progress, detailing what is happening and what is due in the following days or weeks, ensuring there are “no surprises”.
Team leaders like Irne exemplify this commitment to service excellence. When undertaking projects, Irne has shown remarkable patience, and an ability to suggest improvements to initial concepts. He has specifically been noted for his skill in managing strict budgets, ensuring that everything was accounted for. When converting a garage into a granny flat, Irne utilized high-end finishes, resulting in a space that clients considered living in themselves and which never struggles to rent out.
Retro Construction’s genuine commitment extends to handling jobs of all sizes. Finding a contractor willing to assist with small repairs or provide emergency service can be scarce. However, clients have found that we are willing to “step up” and assist with both ongoing maintenance and emergency repairs—such as cutting into a concrete step to lay new pipes following a burst water pipe. Irne assisted with this emergency quickly, completing a superb job at a reasonable price. Whether tackling a large-scale conversion or small interior renovations consisting mainly of painting, carpets, and repairs, the team is efficient timewise and highly recommended.
