The exemption includes specific requirements that Licensed Building Practitioners (LBPs) need to be aware of, although for many builders not much is changing if they have been doing it right anyway. The focus is just on more responsibility for them than Council and this means that the Client should rather ensure to use an LBP because of this shift!
